The plastic charge pipe is one of the N55’s (F2x, F3x, F87) known weak points. Heat cycling makes the factory coupler brittle, and over time it cracks, fractures and eventually fails — usually taking your boost with it. We’ve had a steady run of enquiries from owners after exactly this failure. Our alloy replacement fixes it for good: a CNC coupler that won’t go brittle like the original.

Fitment

Will not fit xDrive. On xDrive cars the steering rack sits where the pipe needs to go, so there’s no clearance.

Before you fit

Keep your original O-rings and seals during removal — they’re reused on the Forge hoses.
