<p>Forge are excited to present our Hi flow intake system for the Suzuki Swift Sport. Many months and <gwmw class="ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-2" id="gwmw-15739885933265421451153">man</gwmw> hours of development have gone into this product to achieve our three main objectives:</p>
<ul>
<li>Increase power and torque output</li>
<li>Improve the sound characteristics of the engine note</li>
<li>Improve the visual impact of the engine bay</li>

This intake is designed for RHD vehicles and will NOT fit the LHD version. For the LHD
<p>During our testing
we found that the location of the original air box was susceptible to a vast amount of heat soak. This is because the <gwmw class="ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-3" id="gwmw-15739885957131615225102">airbox air</gwmw> feed is placed directly above a very hot source of heat - the radiator. This led us to design and relocate where the air filter/<gwmw class="ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-1" id="gwmw-15739885963916737517499">airbox</gwmw> <gwmw class="ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-3" id="gwmw-15739885963915521232057">is housed</gwmw> in the engine bay. The Forge cold air intake system now cleverly draws air from within the Suzuki Swifts front bumper keeping the intake temperatures extra cool in any climate. After extensive testing
we found that our carbon <gwmw class="ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-1" id="gwmw-15739885979992766195555">fibre</gwmw> canister filters worked the best. The filter element itself is provided by <u><a href="http://www.pipercross.net/" target="_blank">Pipercross</a></u>
and is fully serviceable or replaceable if necessary. A replacement can be found <a href="https://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/Replacement_Filter_for_FMINDK29_FMINDK32_and_FMINDK34--product--2280.html" target="_blank">here</a>. The <gwmw class="ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-1" id="gwmw-15739885995901675484049">pipe work</gwmw> of the kit runs around the cold side of the engine and away from the <gwmw class="ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-3" id="gwmw-15739885995904025928603">engines</gwmw> turbo manifold; this again is to keep intake temperatures down as low as possible. In total
we observed intake temperatures fall from 39°C down to 26°C. These numbers will come down further still with the addition of our <a href="https://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/Uprated_Intercooler_for_Suzuki_Swift_Sport_14_Turbo_ZC33S--product--1767.html"><gwmw class="ginger-module-highlighter-mistake-type-1" id="gwmw-15739886004180362384051">intercooler</gwmw></a> upgrade. </p>

In total, we observed intake temperatures fall from 39°C down to 26°C. These numbers will come down further still with the addition of our intercooler upgrade. 

The Forge High Flow airbox produced an impressive increase of over 8BHP at 5500RPM and a gain of toruqe throughout the entire rev range on independent dyno testing.

The design of this kit has also introduced some excitement to the driving experience with a subtle yet characterful induction roar when on harder acceleration.

 

 

 

You will be very happy with the visual impact of the kit upon opening the bonnet. Every part of the kit from the handmade aluminium hard pipe to the bespoke silicone hose and the carbon fibre filter both look and feel high quality – quite simply, because they are!

 

The kit comes complete with everything you need for installation, which can be carried out in around 40 minutes, including a set of full colour instructions.

Well what can I say? This induction kit is absolutely brilliant! The looks, the noise and power difference is unbelievable. The carbon fibre just finishes off the engine bay. The noise well is more than I expected sounds brilliant, it really does ‘suck’ and ‘hiss’ absolutely brilliant from a induction kit. The power difference is really noticeable when boosting its harder and harsher and just pulls.

DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN
When fitting the filter to its counterpart please ensure you do not over tighten the hose clamp connecting them. Doing so could result in the part being crushed, leading to fitment and/or performance issues. The recommended torque setting for this hose clamp is 2-2.4Nm
